In the final week of June, Diana and I attended our first caller school. I’ve been mentored by callers for about a year and a half now, and Diana has been listening in, but did not yet have the official schooling. I called us “wannabe” callers. Now we moved up in the world: we’re newbies!
Caller school was an exciting and mind-opening experience for a wannabe. If you are serious about being a caller, you can’t go without it.
My work on SqAC may slow down a bit, as I focus a bit more on improving my own skills rather than the computer’s. I certainly intend to continue developing SqAC as the tool that I envision for it to become, but I have to balance that development time with growing my own calling and teaching skills.
Until the next post…
